hello there...

i have a 7-month old Blue Parti whippet... and i just have to get another! there is a nice litter here in my area... i have visited 2 times now... they are 30 days old now.... there are 4 girls and 2 boys. i have decided, after long thought that i will get another boy. will someone please help me choose which of the 2 would probably be better for racing/agility/coursing/frisbee? if 30 days is too early to tell ANYTHING AT ALL, then we can wait a bit... please contact me on email or here in K9 if you prefer ( glennskii@gmail.com ) i have quite a few photos of both, just taken yesterday. one of the 2 has a longer back, so long that he may not be inclined for show. i dont care if the dog i take is for show or not... if the owners say the dog i pick is for show, i will go allong with showing him for them (the daughter is a handler). and if the one better for sport is not for show, that's fine too.

please help me out. i'm waiting here with photos ;)

:D Go into the puppy pen with all the pups (w00t) keep an eye on both boys, and who shits on your shoe,,take him (w00t) (w00t) ,,it worked with us with Georges Choice (w00t)

Or Enie, minie, minie, mo :- " :- " :- "

:D Well thats a different way of picking your pup Susan i must say :teehee: :teehee:

haha...

one of the reasons i picked my astro, was because he defecated the FURTHEST from the puppy-nest.... which gave him a reputation for being the most clever.

I don't think anyone could tell you which to pick that would be best for your chosen hobby. Personally I'd pick what I liked the look of and choose at about 8 weeks when their personality is more obvious.

Best dog I've ever ''picked out' was before he was even born (I asked for a black & white parti male) Who knows what he'll be like at the track but he's certainly the most loyal, intelligent and devoted dog I've ever owned.

hi,

i picked my astro by net conversations and photos.. import.

he is white-blue parti with blue eyes (2 colors of blue). and he is also to me like your parti is to you.... those same things...

i will decide at 6 weeks. cuz i wanna take him at 7.

thanks...

I bet they're glad they are not choosing a young elephant (w00t)

LOL!! Anyway that's easy, just pick the one with the biggest ears as it'll be a flyer!

hi,

i made my choice about 6 days ago. im taking the blue-fawn boy. the litter already has their tattoes, names, etc. his name is "Rocket von Pocket"

i will take him home 1 or 2 days after i return from my 5 days in glasgow.

Over your next couple of visits, why don't you take a small soft ball with you...see if any of them stand out as being particularly interested in playing chase the ball.
