does anyone know if dogs can get tumours in there feet.ive had my dog at the vets tonight after i noticed a small lump under his pad which she told me it may be a skin tumour.

Yes it is possible for dogs to get tumours in their feet.

I know a lovely whippetxgrey who's recently had surgery to remove 2 tumours from her paws.

I have to get my young retired racer NANDROLONE put to sleep shortly :( , as every gland in his body are like tennis balls ! He`s still in good form, but the vet has assured me he will start going down hill rapidly. However that wont happen to him, as he will be going to that great track in the sky before that happens.

Gutted it should happen to him, as he was assured a kennel for life and to see this happen at just 5 years of age is disappointing ! :(

Tumours in feet are hugely common, but we do see them, not all of them are nasty tumours though, its always wise to have the lump sent for histiopathology if the Vet thinks its worth doing. We had a little dog in the surgery on Monday, she is now recovering from an op to remove what turned out to be a mast cell tumour..she has lost her whole toe to try and prevent any spread.
