Have you got a cage yet Chris?
 
Yes i got a Big One :D only thing i need now is a nice bed for when the pup isnt in the cage, and some puppy food but was going to wait and see what you put them on before i bought it.

I thought for a nice bed in the cage i would use a one of my sons old cot quilts and some of his old blankets lol but the bed for outside the cage for in the sitting room ive still not found a one that i really like yet lol but im sure i will get there eventualy.
 
I just hope Cloud my dog doesn't feel left out. He is walking around with a teddy in his mouth most of the time which is a bit worrying as he isn't the father.Bless him. Bet when people come to see the pups he pretends he is!
 
I will most probably wean the pups onto Arden Grange puppy food as I feed my 2 on the adult one but of course I will let you know as and when Chris.Did you get puppy pads?
 
Ahhh bless him i bet he does he will be all protective of them all i bet LOL im sure he will make a great dad even though he isnt the real daddy lol.
 
Knowing him he will probably cock his leg on them he is such a conkerbonce!
 
Ive acctualy still got a pack of the baby ones they are made from the same thing and once i start running low ill get somemore, i knew keeping them would come in handy. Got lots of toys and ive got a teddy and a small blanket to drop off when i come to see the pups so that the scent of mum will be on them for when i bring the little pup home.
 
You ARE organised. Good for you. I think you are defo as excited as me!
 
Yeh i hope i am, i just want the pup to feel settled so its not as stressfull.

I think maybe i am nearly as excited as you. its a bit like when i was due my son the wait was just awfull and i went 2 weeks over with him lol but its just the not knowing when its going to happen thats the worst thing although makes it that little bit more exciting i think.
 
My friends are sick of me cos it's all I ever talk about. I am obsessed. But I am just trying to do everything right by Twig. My social life is on hold but I don't mind that one bit. I think I was nearly the same when I was pregnant and I went 2 weeks over with both of mine. Just for her and the pups to be healthy and happy is what I am to achieve.
 
ahhh im sure once the pups are born and your friends see how lush they all are they will understand why u talked about it so much lol

I talk about getting one of twiggys pups all the time too and everytime i go out shopping im always going down the pet isle to see what i can buy for it.

Im sure twiggy and pups will all be fine and fingers crossed for a nice easy birth for her.

I think she'll have 4 - one blue girl like her and then you'll have 3 crazy blues.

I hope there is a couple of boys among them though Rae LOL i cant wait to see all the lovely colours they will be and choose one :D knowing me ill prob want all of them haha

I have pictures of Dad Spike on my mobile and if my lovely friend Rae would post them for me?????It is all down to her I'm afraid!

Twig is so uncomfortable. I have to itch her back legs for her cos she can't reach and cries.She hasn't eaten her brekkie this am. Would only have Lactol!Not tht I am trying to build anyone's hopes up or anything!!!!

Is it normal for a Whippet to sleep alot more when she is pregnant?

Only Twiggy took herself upstairs to bed for the first time ever this morning and is in a very deep, heavy- breathing sleep. Relaxed though.

She didn't even attempt to go for a walk with my dog when he got picked up by a friend. Unheard of!
 
Well I was deffo in need of more sleep when pregnant, so mebbe it's the same for hounds... ;)

Am dead excited too - and I have nothing to do with it!!! :lol:
