Following the success of last years Working Whippet Championship at Broughton Hall Game Fair

We are proud to announce the 2009 Working Whippet Championship will be held at the same venue on Sunday 28th June.

1st judge to be confirmed is Mr Tony Dent the well known owner & breeder of Coursing Whippets

We will also be doing an 8 dog simulated coursing display in the main ring again. If you wish to take part in the display , please let myself or Nigel know.

Another excellent whippet day with The UK Working Whippet Club everyone involved in running this event should be very proud of themselves well done & thank you

A big thank you must also go to all our sponsors & our Judges Mike Brown & Tony Dent who made the event flow & were very pleased with the high standard of whippets put before them cheers Patrick for a sound job driving the lure & as always Aaron Atmore for slipping the whippets a special mention must go to our team of youngsters who rethread the lure at all these events well done without all your efforts these events would not go ahead.

Well done to all the winners & to all who took part in this event it was great to see so many friends & forum members all supporting our breed it was great to meet the lads from The Isle Of Man hope to see you again this winter.
