my buncie boy tore his grasolesis at the fed champs after an op to rejoin it i ask dennis about ultrasound he siad this would help, so tony cooper done 10 treatments for me it has healed so good that i maybe able to run at the BWRA champs. i had to get one myself £400.00 but i have already used on my pups shoulder and he seems to be happier already after 4 treatments.

Hi Mark

That's interesting to know. I have heard of good results also. Does the ultrasound come with full intructions, as I was always told that they could do more harm than good unless you know exactly what you're doing?

The physio I take my Whippets to has used ultrasound for CERTAIN problems but doesn't use it for all. You have to be very careful how much it is used and it should not be used on puppies/young dogs whose muscles are not fully developed. This has been corroborated by the Physiotherapy Manager here at the hospital where I work. Unless you are a trained Physio I would not consider buying one for yourself as you could do more harm than good.

true you need to know what your doing, weve had one for the last three years and wouldnt be without it, 400 is a bit steep mark our therapist sells them a good bit cheaper up here, e mail me if yousr interested you get full instructions with the machine ,as long as you follow them you will have no worries.

HI MARK HERE

WE HAVE ALREADY GOT IT, BUT I WENT ON THE NET AND THEY WERE ABOUT THE SAME PRICE.

THE VET SHOWED US WERE TO USE IT ON OUR PUP BUT HE IS NEARLY ONE NOW. HE TOLD US TO READ THE BOOKLET AT LEAST TWO OR THREE TIMES BEFORE USE SO COMMON SENCE TELLS YOU WERE AND WHEN.

BUT THIS HAS SAVED US AT LEAST 8 WEEKS OUT.

ALWAYS TAKE YOUR VETS ADVICE LET THEM FIND THE INJURY FIRST BEFORE USE UNLESS YOU NO A BIT ABOUT DOGS WHICH A LOT OF WHIPPET PEOPLE DO.
