John.Just in the door a couple of minute's ago.Why does it have to be ready to leave mum on or about the 9th of July. And you dont have enough experience to tell if they are gona stay under or not at that age.So if you do come across anything over here ,let me know ,and i'll come up and have a look at them for you.At least that way ,you'll be a bit more sure of it staying under. ...Billy...

Billy ffs get over yourself, talk about patronising!

I'm sure any decent breeder would put John right if he needed to.

All the best John, sure you'll pick up a blinder from over here - get it posted in the non ped section - not a first cross but Sugar Daddy has mated a nice 26lber in the North East, should be some crackers out of that litter.

See the thing is,i was with john today, and i thought he was looking for one over here.Another thing is ,ive only been wrong once as to what is going over in a litter ,and what wasnt.and ive kept raced worked, and bred whippet/greyhound's for over 20 years.Ive also picked the fastest of all my litter's at birth, and have been right each time. That is why ive been asked along on many an occasion,to help people pic greyhond pup's.Dont get me wrong ,im not perfect,no one is.But John has absolutely no experience with whippetxgreyhound's,and all i am doing is offering my help in picking a pup if he happened to come on a litter over here,as some people tell you what they want you to here, and i do think almost 25 years of as i say breeding racing and working count for something, when it come's to picking a pup.Ive picked an Oak's winner at 8 weeks old,and a North West Dearby winner,at 3 month's.Now that aint bad.So sorry if i seemed a bit patronizing ,but there is no breeder's over here ,and as John never stated where he was looking for a pup from, yes maybe i did jump the gun a little. But hey, only to be of help.It is so easy to jump the gun,and go for someone's jugular isnt it. Youre's in sport . Billy... PS.Might just give him a pup myself, out of Megan n maybe Hellbound,Sugar Daddy,or Magical Dreams. Then he would be sure of a flyer.

I don't doubt you have a lot of experience Billy and maybe you are good at what you do, but i find sometimes your posts are very patronising to others.

There are a hell of a lot of other experienced owners/breeders on here yet you don't read them blowing their own trumpet at every opportunity and belittleing others like you have just done AGAIN with John.

One last thing, if you have picked the fastest pup out of every litter for the last 25years you have been breeding, i wouldn't put that down to being clever i'd say you're downright f*cking lucky!

Johnny's getting an ickle whippy

Best of luck with the litter Geoff :luck: :luck: :luck:

An eye for a good un, surprised every greyhound kennel in Ireland haven't snapped you up then, you could be a millionaire by now.

Finally knowing Geoff and his dogs i'd put money on him too saying he's had luck on his side when picking pups from a homebred litter, you'd be silly to think otherwise and then it come back to bite you on the arse when you land the donkey of the litter.

As well as having good looks, and charm, I also have a lot of luck with my dogs :luck: but sorry to say I haven't won the lottery yet :(

Billy, i'm not surprised (w00t) your getting a bit of fleck with a post like that. How to hell are you keeping anyway. I reckon i'm better than you at picking pups as i can pick the best from a scan when they are still in the womb  :teehee:  . A wee bit of the topic, does you know anyone down your neck of the woods that breeds border canaries...trying to get some for my pops as he's bored out of his head since he's retired and he used to keep them many moons ago...wanted him to get a lurcher but he's having none of it. If the truth be told i'm trying to soften him up so that i can get another one and the canaries might just do the trick :clown: ...just glad he hasn't got a clue about computers or he might figure out the game plan. o:)

Ok Darren. This will probibly get me a few more earfull's,or should i say eyefull's.My uncle is one of the top breeder's and showers of Canaries in Ireland. He is also an international show judge. He mainly keeps Red Factor's and Glouster's(not sure on the spelling here),but i will get his number for you if you like, and you can talk to him,or i can take you to the wee man who i got mine from when i kept them a few year's ago, before i moved house.Buy him a green house Darren, and he'll spend all day in it.
