anyone having problems uploading photos no matter how small i make them it says they are to big not sure why never had a problem before :wacko:

I gave up a few day's ago.

I used photo bucket,,just copy and paste,,won't work now.

So no more photo's from me :lol:

I think it's to do with the amount of photo's you've previously posted, it's all changed since Nigel updated the site over xmas you might have to delete some of your old photo's under "manage attachments" on your control panel. Either that or use photobucket, it's much quicker imo.

I added a link to a topic Nigel posted, in reply to David H a week or so ago if you can find it.

I have deleted every photo in my control panel, and I always use photo bucket,,Just Copy /paste , I still cant post a simple little photo.

Giving up now

i had the same problem :rant: only thing when you delete they are removed from your old posts NO PICS :rant:

SEEMS LIKE 1 STEP FOWARD AND 3 BACK.NEVER HAD TO DELETE PICS SINCE COMING ON THERE :wacko: SURE THERE WILL BE A REASON,MAYBE THEY OVER 55LB (w00t) :-

Adding your photo's from Photobucket has no effect on your global storage available on K9. You can delete all the photo's you want on K9 & it will not affect whether you can post from Photobucket or not.

All you need to do to add photo's from anywhere is add the url of the photo between on K9.

 

I reluctantly had to instigate the overall limit on storage space for attachments on K9 because the space they were taking up became too great and it was just becoming unmanageable. They all had to be backed up and unfortunately space and backing up costs money. It didn't seem worthwhile keeping many old attachments from old posts that were rarely looked at from one month to the next - unfortunately I have to pay for the server, server file space & backup space :thumbsup:

I had the same problem Yvonne-try what Vicky has told you above -I've cleared all mine out and it's ok again now-

Had loads of photos stored from years back......all gone now, saved a few special ones to my own pc.

thanks still deleting photos could not believe how many was on still got 198 to go :sweating: got photos on photo bucket now and hope to workout with the help of a friend how to post on k9 like Dave not to good at such things lol

2moro il give u an easy step by step guide that i (pc thick) use to put my photos on thru photobucket @ a normal size. cant do it now as theres a double eviction live on celeb bb 4 gods sake lol
