It breaks my heart to do this but I have an eight month old black and white whippet puppy called Archie who urgently needs a loving home. He gets on well with other dogs, has excellent recall, is fantastic with young children (I have an eight year old and a three year old) and is very very loving. Unfortunately due to health problems my husband cannot cope with this energetic bundle and although we will manage with our older much loved whippet, George we feel we cannot give Archie all that he needs. Please pm me if you can help - we are in Newcastle-Under-Lyme Staffordshire. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he finds the best home in the world x

I'm so sorry to hear about your problems and the need to rehome your little lad, I'm sure the perfect home will come up for him, a picture might help?

How very sad for you, it must be heartbreaking to have to make a decision like that. Hope you find a wonderful home for him :luck: :luck: :luck:

Thanks guys - the children are very upset but their dad's health has to take priority at the moment.

I have added some pictures - he is the smaller on on the photo with both on.I have put the puppy one on as it is the best phot I've got with his markings showing.

Please help!

So sorry that you have had to make this decision. :(

Have you contacted Archie's breeder to see if s/he will take him back?

What a heartbreaking decision - I'm sure a fantastic home will come up soon. :luck:

Best wishes.

He is a little beauty  good luck in finding him a loving new home :luck: :luck:

He looks beautiful would take him like a shot...he would have another 10 month whippet to play with..but we are in scotland...

xx

Archie is in the most active period of his life, if you could only hold on for few month. Maybe somebody living near by could with help exercising him?

He is gorgeous  :luck: :luck: :luck:

I am sure that the K9 network could arrange to do relay transport from Newcastle Under Lyme up to Scotland ... if you really could give Archie a home then why not put a topic up to ask for transport help?

It has been done before

Good luck in finding your home, little fella :luck: :luck: :luck:

I am a Mike Brown whippet fan ............ I have 2 of my own here already

I do hope your husband's health improves

I know that he is at his most active at the moment - George is only 18 months and we've been through it all with him. The problem is that we haven't got time my husband is not going to get better - only worse. We simply can't meet Archies needs and thats not fair- George is turning into a calm, mellow chap and Archie is full of bounces and challenges - its simply not fair on him or my hubbie.

He looks absolutely gorgeous and I am sure he will find a wonderful new home soon, this can't be easy for you all :huggles:

No it's not easy at all - its rubbish to say the least! I am so touched by kind people offering my little man a home but it suddenly feels very real indeed.

He is lovely, If you were closer I would be very tempted. Im sorry you have had to make this difficult decision but I am sure he will find a great new home.

Good luck :luck:
