Just thought i would put this on as the numbers attending have dropped --

I refer to Thursday evenings at Westhoughton we need more to use this venue and although there has been nothing said by anyone i can see if numbers go any less it just will not be a worth-while option

that would be very sad as we can not afford to be losing any more venues here in the North -West -

we used to get all sorts of dogs Peds/terriers/afghan/to name but a few

it would be nice to see many more people making the effort to support those who are trying to make this a success :luck: :luck: :luck:

please if you can ----make the effort as it only costs a fiver a dog and you get at least two runs--for that-- :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

Great value for money is that Steve,most tracks i use for trialing are £4 or £5 to trial one dog, wish it was nearer, all the best with the club :cheers: :luck:

It's been great this last few months for bringing the pups on, running in company on a regular basis has made a hell of a difference when they've gone on to run in opens.

I consider us very lucky to have this facility on our doorstep and like you say a few more runners wouldn't go a miss.

not been able to make the last couple of weeks as Tillie had picked up a slight injury so it was swimming only up to champs but will be there on thursday

Well what a good turn out last night --thanks to all that made the effort hope you all enjoyed it ---and now if we get just one or two more we will be able to have a mini race card but this i would think would require pre -entry so we could have a start time with trials in between maybe---we should also register Westhoughton as a north west club with the bwra ---again well done all that turned up to give thier support last night-- :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

whilst on this thread must say how impressed i was with little flyers run showed true potential and looks like being a good un for Mick and Lynne who have put a lot into getting this little bitch ready and Nemo looked the same very fit well both of you--

Here once again trying to get across to whippet racers just how important this venue is in the North West

i was there again last night and very surprised at the lack of support this new little club is getting and i can see it not being available much longer if things do not improve then all those who never gave thier support will be shouting the loudest about decline of good venues---

Iasked Tony Taylor if we could make it pre- entry and that way have a bit of a handicap rather than just training as at present --yes is the answer we can so those who are wanting to run please get in touch with him via an email on here or PM him--

dogs will be split into two sections light and heavy weights so no one will be giving to many yards away and all will be in with a chance to win --i think thats the fairest way forward --all will be made welcome and if anyone just looking in on this thread who would like to get into whippet racing would like to have a look just come along too sure you will be made welcome and get any questions you may have answered

I was going to suggest we run a Trophy meeting just before Christmas, i don't mind donating a trophy for one of the finals, was a good night when we did it a couple of years ago.
