Oh Lynda - there are so many of us who know how you are feeling. Bobby went too early too and it takes a long time to get over those "I was robbed" and "Why him/her" feelings. I'm so sorry for you and know how your heart is breaking.

Kate's words made me cry - I had just held it together until I got to that post.

I'll be thinking of you and yours. :*

So sorry you didnt get the happy ending we were all hoping and praying for :(

I cant begin to imagine the sorrow you are feeling at losing your special girl

very sorry to hear your sad news, she was a beautiful girl :(

RIP lovely Lulu

Oh Lynda, I am so sorry. Like Lana I know how hard it is losing them so unexpectedly, it knocks the wind right out of your sails :( :'( .

I have always thought your photo of Lulu in her pearls and purple rose, was one of the prettiest pictures I have ever seen of any whippet. It not only show's her style and grace as a champion show dog, but character in her expression, and more importantly the love of her owner.

RIP Lulu

Thanks Karen, she was one in a million... Thank you so much for all the lovely emails, texts and phone calls... the support from everyone has been amazing, the dog world has a lot of awesome people in it.

The girls were rocked as expected - they looked up last nite in the sky & saw a bright star & both were convinced it was Lulu, so sweet - Renae did say - Mum, it looks like she is moving - I didn't have the heart to tell her I think it was actually a plane!!!!

Thanks for you lovely words, I have to say, that I do have awesome kids, I get so many compliments around the ring about my girls (Kate is so sweet & sensitive & always desperate to help anyone & get on the end of the lead & Renae who is purely out to make a buck or 2 will make paper puppies & sell em or offer to walk your dog for a fee!!!!) but to have such lovely comments from people who haven't met them, is special

My hubby who is non-doggy & quite "blokey" had the biggest soft spot for Lulu presented me with a lovely bottle of Moet tonite to toast Lulu's awesome achievements - moments like these I am proud to say - I don't share (w00t)

We lost our much loved old rescued whippet on Saint Patricks Day last year Lynda. It absolutely broke our hearts, but the St Pat's day conincidence amused and comforted us. He was an absolute character of a dog, so after we buried him, we sat down and raised a glass to our loveable old boy...it helped

:( Awww I'm so sorry to hear you lost your lovely girl. I've been thinking about you and hoping that things were going to turn out for the better. Poor girl but I'm sure she had an absolutely fantastic life with you and your family and wouldn't have changed a single second of it.

I hope you feel the warmth of your memories at this sad point :huggles:
