It is with much sadness that I have to report that we lost our great VC Whisper today. She was sixteen years and two months old. She was our first ever whippet, and was the mother of a great litter: WCRCh/VC Bunny Girl, WCRCh/VC Mahler, WCRCh Molly Malone, VC Minnie Mouse and VC Bullet Bunny. She won the WCRA Masters veteran league as an eight year old and was runner up in the veteran top ten. She was a very gutsy dog and had some memorable races with dogs like: Serena, Blackbird, Mad Dash, Ruby Tiger and her sister Pepperami. All of our racing dogs descend from her. She had tremendous ability and we were very lucky to have such a dog as a first whippet. She will be greatly missed.

Ah darling! RIP little old lady. A candle is lit. Give your mum a hug from us Rob.
 
How well I remember Blackbird's races with Whisper. He beat her often as not when they were youngsters but she was such a good veteran that she beat him time and time again when they were veterans. I am really sorry to hear this news but what a good age to reach. Run free old girl.................

So sorry to hear of your sad loss of VC Whisper, She was a lucky girl and found a wonderful home, and all who new her will miss her .

I expect there will be a few races in the sky, meeting up with old friends & rivals
