Just sent off my form for Nov 6 so we should be there too, barring interventions from Fate. How does the stake system work i.e. which stake would a 6 year old, male 28 pounder be in?  :- "

Hello Moriarte,

once the closing date has passed the dogs are grouped by age, size, weight and breed into a stake, the idea being to match dogs of a similar ability. To date we like to think that we have beign successful in this process, although at the end of the day we are only human . The order of the stakes is presently somewhat random.
