Very Old Film Footage - Racing Whippets

The racing was a real event - look how smartly they all dressed (w00t) !!
 
Thats really interesting...some of the whippets look quite big...others look tiny.

Wow, I really enjoyed watching it. Thanks for posting it. I thought the whippets looked quite chunky. Loved the steam train at the end pulling all those goods wagons. Brilliant.

Great, thanks for posting it, the first lot of dogs looked more like greyhounds, certainly very big for whippets. I recognise some of the still photos, there were some Tiptrees there and others I know from photos in various books.

I can't help but wonder if the dog and owner at 3.15sec is Floreat Etona and her owner M.A.W. Brown

I recognised Ch Wingedfoot Clare De Lune and Ch Wingedfoot Marksman :D
