june steel has very sadly passed away @ devon. she died in the air ambulance. condolencies r sent to all of junes family.

I heard of this news this afternoon.My heart goes out to junes family,she will be a great lost to the world of whippet raceing,she was a very happy go lucky lady and always spoke good of everyone,and for one i have had the pleasure of known june for a lot of years and i will miss here very much on the tracks. R.I.P JUNE, FROM GEORGE & FAMILY

What a shock I have just logged on I have known June since we started whippet racing I got a pup from June many years ago Nch Black Haze bred from her fine stud dog Irish Tinker June was a lovely lady and loved to live life to the full my thoughts are with Tommy and co at this very sad time I am sure she will be sadly missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her

It's very difficult to find the words to express the shock and sadness that we felt on hearing of June's death. One of the first people we ever met in whippet racing at Maltby WRC, she alway made everyone feel welcome.

We really don't know what to say. We've known June for quite some years now and used to see her every week at Maltby.

All I can think of at the moment is seeing her down there in Devon sitting by the track and having a laugh with everyone.

June was a lovely person, very bubbly. She will be sadly missed.
