okay here goes... although not yet a MEMBER for this year i have decided to ask the question

when we go to this weekends racing our bitch Biddy will be five years old when she weighs in for the saturday heats however if she is lucky enough to qualify for the Sundays final she will be six years old does this mean she will be able to get her age entitlement on the Sunday or not ???

I understand that the weights are taken from Saturday (stated in advert) but your age entitlement goes by the age you are on the day the race is held doesnt it?

im sure it goes on day of entry val as a pup could be in pups on sat and a day over on sunday but still can run in pups on sunday

I know pups can do this, but with vets your age decided what your yard entitlement is gonna be, I havent had this situation with a vet before, i think its an interesting one, as she will be running on the Sunday with a five year olds age entitlement but she will be six, (thats if she even gets through her heat). Just thought it was an interesting question to ask. If the decision is its gotta be Saturdays age then thats what it will have to be. But I always thought that a vet ran from the age they were on that race day.

May just put her in the adults
