Tomorrow (7th August) at Meysey Hampton (Gloucesterhire) judging starts at 1 pm. Good day out- lots of stalls last year, BBQ etc

Just got back from the VWH Terrier and Lurcher Show, which was really good. Loads of terriers there plus some fine looking lurchers. Basil entered the rough coated dog- over 23" and came away with first prize! There were only two in it, but he is still very proud! Did you go OEH?

I was sitting just behind you under a small tree wondering if it was you, but being shy. Nana won the smooth bitch under 23".

Did you know that you were meant to stay for the Best in Show?

Awwwwwwwwwww we wish you hadnt been shy!!!!!! Was that you with the DIVINE white girl who Nick fell totally in love with???????

As for the Best In Show, we just didnt give it a second thought. Basil only went in his class at the last moment and I dont imagine he would have done very well against all of the fabulous dogs that were there, not that it isnt the taking part that counts!!

If you know of any other shows around, can you post them??? I never seem to hear of things going an and would love to take the dogs to more. I am especially keen to let them have a go at coursing, but seem to miss everything!

Well I did have the only white girl there so I guess it must have been :b .

There are tons of shows- several every weekend. You need to get 'countrymans weekly' from the news agent. They won't stock it, but will do if you ask.

I'm not sure what's on next weekend, but 21st August is at Ragley Hall in Warwickshire- a good show with lurcher obedience as well. The next coursing that I'm aware of in the general area is at Weston Park on 17/18th Sept.
