We went for a walk round Great Wood today, started off lovely and pleasent then started to rain and the batteries ran out in my camera. Most the photos I did take came out very blurry to! We stumbled across a deer too who was very shocked and I think it surprised Milo so much he didn't chase after him so I managed to grab hold of him in time, just to make sure. Riley on the other hand was completely oblivious to it!

Milo saw me get the camera out to snap the view, and thought he was going to get some nibbles (he's over the moon that I've started carrying treats again to help train Riley says he not seen them since he was a pup!) Riley is back there somewhere.

See, here he comes now (heaven forbid him to miss out on nibbles!)

Whats that? Deer? No, just a twig.

It'd had started raining and Riley had to find somewhere dry to hide.

very nice pics, handsome boys (Riley is just toooo cute   peeping round that tree) :huggles:

Great photo's  They're both very handsome boys

Great pics! I like the one of Milo heading back along the path for his treats - you can tell just by looking at him that he's trotting back for a reason - :- " typical whippet when food's involved! :p

Looks like a lovely walk. Great pictures :huggles:

Lovely place to walk (apart from the deer (w00t) !) and great pics. The one of Riley coming back reminds me of my Rupert because he is dark brindle with long white front socks as well and when he is cantering towards me amid all the trees on the disused railway all I can see is his legs flashing up and down so I always know which one is coming back!!!

Love the pic of Riley peeping round the tree!

Lovley pictures in the wood and so clear. The dogs look like they really enjoy it too.
