Took the gang down to the woods for a run about earlier. They're now all snoring in front of the fire - mission accomplished. Of course, we had to bath each and every dog when we got home!

I don't think the pup had 'done' water before :( (w00t)

I've never known a thin-skinned lump like Maisie to be so fond of freezing meltwater!

AND when she gets out, after a quick shake she loves nothing more than to ROLL IN THE SNOW!!! (w00t)

And a winter walk with Austin would be incomplete without some attempts at snowball-catching action shots

You have already spring?! Lucky you!!

Lovely photos, your dogs clearly had some fun. :))

Awwwwwwww! Fab pics!  How can you keep a labrador and not introduce it to water and muddy things? :( Glad the lab knows all about these things now! :huggles:

Great pictures ILKC - the wood looks lovely.  Smashing place for dog walks.

I saw a deer on my walk yesterday (didnt have the bl..dy camera did I ) :(

It would have been a brill shot - luckily Oscar was on the leader. It cleared the hedge ran across the front of me over the road and away down the field. BRILL

Its a while since Ive been that close.

Great photos. That last one is really comical, but all good. Felt like I came on the walk with you, scrolling through those. fab.

Do you live in Scotland? Those woods look great for walking the dogs.

Now why oh why is Maisie out in the cold and not wearing her natty hat-and-gloves ensemble??

 she LOVES the cold, makes her go all loopy and run so fast she kicks herself in the ears with her back legs (w00t)

Yep Nicola, Scotland, cold and snowy but the possibly the best dog-walking in the world! The woods are a community trust thing, some times of the year we have to walk dogs on leads but fortunately there are plenty other places for a run :)
