what sue said here was her opinion, and as k9 is here to read or voice your opinions, i do not see the call for someone to confront sue at an open infront of others with the attitude that it was spoken in about this subject, it was not even the voice of the person who has the said dog. i myself have had a dog returned by john and gillian and he (maddas) was in very good condition and well looked after,

DEBBIE

Its nice to see ppl speaking out Debbie, you can only tell it how you see it. Sonny and Maddas was fine.

My reply/opinionWell I am glad to hear that Ash/ Sue were pleased with the dogs they either got back or were newly acquired ---I myself am not in the habit of telling lies and I will take anyone to task who says otherwise –or even inferred it.- sunny d

when i got sunny back of gill and john he was fine , no problems what so ever, i picked him up at easington the same time as steves friend picked up nemo and i thought nemo looked ok,

I was the one who told Mick and Lynne that Nemo was for sale having seen it on a K9 thread—and I also recommended them to purchase the same.

I never checked the dog over on the day it was bought as I am not a vet—and have not spent many years studying to acquire that title

-However whilst at Easington that same day Mick noticed that the dogs paws were shedding –a bit like a snake sheds it skin—like any responsible owners of a new dog after asking around if this was something others have come into contact with they took the dog to the vets for a professional opinion / advice which he received-- at a cost I might add- as we all know vets don’t come cheap!

In the meantime I asked previous owners Sue/John Weir from Scotland if there had been any history associated with the dog that might help the vet –

I also sent Ian Wallace owner of Shooting Star an E-Mail asking him as I knew Shooting Star the Sire of Nemo had experienced some foot problems if he could shed any light on this problem but alas it was a different sort of foot problem –

I also asked John and Gillian the same questions—about this complaint the dog was suffering from --- who seemed upset they should be asked and replied stating that the dog was ok when it left them,

So far as I am concerned the new owners Mick and Lynne - could if they choose put on here what the vet attributed the cause of this problem was down too----- but that’s up to them—

As they are not nasty vindictive sort of people / as it serves no purpose to do so/ it is not going to benefit anyone/least of all Nemo I think they would be wise to ignore this and concentrate on winning some races with him/ that way the dog will speak for himself and others can be the judge ---- but to finish off NO ONE takes a dog to a vet if there’s nothing wrong with the dog !!! DO THEY?

People will make their minds up as to what and who they believe but the truth will out every time.

In reply to Debbie Savage-I would think you are the last person to be advising others on their behaviour-with your recent track record.

when you got nemo off me at easington you checked him over and you were happy enough with him you said he was fine then if you remember you told the lad to buy him then he asked me if he could put it on bends before he bought him which i refusedas he had not been on them as for his feet you had him a week before you contacted me about him there was nothing wrong with them if there was i would not have not have sold him he would have been treated at my vets first before he was sold

this was not a reply on your behaviour just the way you pulled sue down as she did not state there were any lies stated only her observation, which had nothing to do with you , why if so concerned was it not mick who approved sue and had a quiet word ? as for my behaviour recently , have you never had a domestic, and to any person thinking i was drinking that day, they are mistaken, i had just arrived back from shopping for grocieries and was not amused that the dogs had not been taken out and the others had, not that it has any buisness of others,.

Yes Tanyia-speaking out about issues are fine and good-much better though if spoken face to face rather than come home from a days racing and hit the pc-k9 instead of approaching the person/s in question-

Steve was available all day today Debbie for your comments-

Steve did have a word with Sue yes...and she had a word back...I'm sure Sue is quite capable of speaking for herself......

Approved Sue???

Domestics????

Don't quite follow what your saying.....

and too been discrete i never mentioned no names as i am sure , susan, john and gill and mick would like this subject dropped

I think the main thing now is that Nemo's got a cracking life with a lovely couple in a "permanent home". Sunny D/Solano will no doubt get a puppy quickly if they treat their dogs as well as people are saying. No-one loses out
