Thank you all for your kind words. Tora had a bad night and can't understand what has happened, this morning we couldn't move her off the settee and didnt want to eat her breakfast. I decided to take the bull by the horns took her out in the car and a trip to Blidworth this morning hopefull to take her mind of things (obviously not to mix with the other dogs) once she heard the traps and dogs she did pick up a bit :) Poor girl did a search again when we returned home but seems a little more settled again now. I'm sure in a few days she will be feeling more like herself. Thanks again everyone.

I think this was a very sensible thing to do given Tora's situation. Glad to see it took her mind off things, if not for a little while at least.

My vet gave me some raspberry leaf tablets, they're supposed to help with whelping but it also says they can help prevent phantom pregnancy. Not sure how they work but I wondered if they'd hasten Tora's recovery from a physical point of view? Obviously it's best asking your vet but it was just an idea.

only just come on k9 i'm so sorry for all of you thinking off you

So sorry to hear, youve had such bad luck lately. My thoughts are with you all.

Thanks everyone, not sure whether i'm dealing with this right or not but have decided to put her back in with her mate Meeka tonight in the hope that snuggling up with her might give her a little comfort (thats out of the living room and into the kitchen) they live indoors. Anyone that knows Tora, Two Faced will be aware she is the greediest dog i know and would not think twice at pinching food off the table, work tops, out of your hand (or mouth) if given half the chance and to see her walk away from her breakfast then dinner for me is heart rending, chocolate biscuits, raw mince (her favourite) won't touch a thing at the moment, i'm sure in a few days she will be back to her greedy self, never thought id encourage a dog to pinch but hope she does again soon. i want my naughty Tora back not the sad faced curled up baby sat on top of me :( .

We have also been giving Tora raspberry leaf tablets Jacquie, will read up in a min see if carryin on with them could help :)
