What a great day we all had today at moreton. : ) The weather was perfect and there was a really good turnout for the dog show agility and obedience. Well done to Kim and the WCRA committee for organising such a good event., and well done Rob & Roland in the obedience!!!!!! (w00t)

It was lovely to see all my old racing friends today.

I think everybody had a lot of fun today in the sunshine at Moreton.The dogs in the obedience ring were most impressive and Toddy was most definately Best in Show in his shorts and blond wig. I took home one very tired girl and Papillon who had had a wonderful day. Thank you Kim and the committee for all your hard work.

Not long home after a detour down some pretty lanes in Devon to collect some chickens Lindsey had bought. Seven dogs and four people had a cracking weekend at Moreton.

I would like to thank everybody who made the weekend at Moreton-in-the- Marsh so enjoyable. It waqs like old times everybody enjoying themselves, the weather tried to dampen our spirits but it didn't sucseed, it just made the ground better for the dogs! Fun sunday was super smashing great, our racing dogs gave the diehard show people a run for their money, but it was so nice to see show, racing & the general public joining in and having fun. We even had Lotti Browns birthday party to celebrate. Congratulations to everybody for supporting the week end. It just shows it's not all about winning, the taking part is just as fun. Thanks again everybody :wacko:

Now The Black Velvet is over & Lottie & Emmie's Birthday I can think straight & thank the WCRA for a great weekend. They worked there socks off to make it a success and it was. Our greyhound Tammy & Kookie were 2nd in the Iris Brace & Lottie was 3rd in The Young Handler with Tristan. We had a go in Sporting Tammy & Nobby in the Veteran, and we even had a Car Boot on the field Monday.

Thanks again hope there are more events like this

The East Andlian Whippet Club are having a 2 day event for there 40th on the weekend 17th/18th July, EAWRC are to put on the racing, any one interested come along .

This weekend was such a great success ! thats all i have to say it was like old times ... racing for fun ! thank you to everyone that made it happen ..... and to everyone taking part for making it such a nice weekend ! x
