We bought this in a little shop in Whitby :)

Lucky you! I've only been to Whitby once. I'd love to go back. There's a chip shop there that does the best Fish & Chips I've ever ever EVER tasted

Ooh, actually, the chippie in Seahouses was pretty yum, too. We can't do proper Fish & Chips down south :( I think we use different fat down here and it doesn't taste as nice as northern chips

Good job really, as I'd be the size of a house

Lovely pictures Jue - I love Whitby  - we called last year on the way home from ?? cant think where we went but anyway yes the fish and chips are lovely and we had a fantastic view from the resteraunt over the bay - stunning. Lovely figurine too -

Love the one of Evie running from the waves. We went to Whitby for the first time last October. Lovely place and great fish and chips.

I've found some of my photos I took...hope you don't mind me adding them. Brought back some nice memories...glad you shared with us.

The old part of the town leading up to the Abbey is so nice, and the Dracula connection certainly adds interest! :teehee:

Lovely photos Nicola  I took my 1st photo from the spot you took took your photo of, if that makes sense :b

Whitby is a really nice place always like going there, we also went to Staithes which is a pretty place and also Runswickbay which has a great beach for dogs to run on.

Yes fish and chips are scrummy, why do they always taste better at the seaside :p

Yes, that must be the most photographed view in Whitby. It does show the old town at it's best though doesn't it?
