Can anyone provide with some more info, I had the WELKS schedule through this morning and I see the judge is Betty Beaumont, I was told that she is a whippet lady but thats all. Can anyone tell me any of the dogs names or any info, to help me to decide whether to enter under her!

Thanks everyone

She used show a Barmoll dog and I think she courses as well. You should be OK Joe with yours.

I would say she is a very nice fawn/black/blue lady who will give your dog a fair chance.

Thanks to both of you

Thats all I can hope for - a fair chance that it is! I am just trying to plan what to enter this year, its a nightmare having the two dogs, hate to think of you lot with huge whippet families!

Good luck to everyone going to Manchester :luck: - LOVE the new smilies, what a selection!

I have got no idea what WELKS is :b but I can tell you that Betty Beaumont is a very lovely lady and will be a very fair judge.

She has at least one show champ, don't know his show name but he is an old boy now, called Ben. Betty & her OH are now more involved in racing their whippets.

West of England Ladies Kennel Society W ELKS is a Championship show held on the Three Counties Show ground ,Malvern ,, usually in April

Just ask Joe, Im sure we will all help as much as possible. I only show three at most and they are all of similar breeding so that makes it easier. I did about 25 Ch shows one year when I started, just because I couldnt find anyone to tell me what the judges were really like

Thanks Karen, I entered quite a lot of shows last year as I wasn't sure, so it is really helpful when people help you out.
