Would be nice to run the lurchers - just for fun.

That way, Timothy and Caitlin can have a puppy race between themselves :lol: :thumbsup:

Tish, is Werrington Park the one they use to have every 2 years, :teehee: the show rings were round.? :blink: it's in a beautiful setting down by a stream,? :eek: ........ if it isn't, :lol: i haven't got a bloody clue. :lol: :lol: di.
 
Yes it is Di. I havent been since we've had lurchers so am looking forward to a nice day out with all my family as we taking dads gundogs too. Think its nice to get the dogs out for the day and what a lovely place to take them to!
 
what time does all this start?

Maybe the racing is something i can arrange....MAYBE. Does anyone have the phone number of the organisers so i can ring them to talk about it?

Beautiful setting for a show, :thumbsup: but we was only given a small strip for racing, OK for terriers, and unders :- Helen ask for a longer bit of ground if you do have a go at doing some racing. :thumbsup: di

I don't get out much Tish, (w00t) but it's all coming back to me now, we camped by the stream/river :- Cat & Berni was drunk that night because i remember they went for a walk about, in the middle of the night and Cat fell over the ropes to the main show ring. :lol: Woody's bitch Tara had just come out of season, :unsure: and Trenty wouldn't leave her alone. :rant:

I've got some photo's some where. :lol: but i probably can't find them so i won't say I'll put them up. :teehee: di
 
Just spoken to the organisers to say that i would do the racing and organise it all on the day and she said that they dont want me to do the racing on sunday.

She said that there isnt enough space to do it really and that they only have the time to do one lot (either terriers or lurchers) depending on what is there to race. So if there is only a couple of lurchers there to race then there wont be any racing.

By there sounds of things even if they do have racing it is only going to be a very short run and only for fun.

So sorry peeps i did try to get something organised :unsure:
 
thats ok! Take it ur going porlock then???? We are going werrington cos its ok for the kids etc more to do. Not looking like they expecting many for the showing either seeing as though dogs and bitches are mixed in together :blink:

wahoo jusyt got home from this, maisie won her class in the lurchers, oli won his class in the lurchers, maisie got second in the working condition and they got 1st in lurcher brace :) . And to top it off maisie only went and bloody won the championship :wub: i love this dog :) and yesterday she got rbis at a family dog show :) :)
