We had a great night i think Saturday nights will just get better and better --I was well impressed with Albert and Greta,s He.s the Pitts --was like a rat up a drain pipe ----!!!!

Our own Annie Hough having never run since last year -----plus absolutely no walking at all -----decided to put a little effort into her second run and produced one of the best runs i have seen her make--after a slow start comming off the top bend seemed to change gear-she certainly kicked on ---

there were some very impressive young dogs having a look

Mick and Lynn,s Little flyer always gives her all this was no exception---

looking forward to seeing pictures i hope jacs got a good un of Fluke who at Ten year old still showing what a great bitch she is her first run on the bends in two/three years--albeit just half distance--

The company and crack was second to none i hope everyone enjoyed the night as much i we did ---

There nowt wrong with gradely folk!!!

31st October 2009

I have to say i was really impressed with the track last night, the surface looked spot on, Rod & Louise must have worked hard to get the surface back up to such a high standard.

We had some good races, the lurchers provided some of the closest races of the night and some brilliant trails from the regions impressive looking youngsters.

Hagler went well being handslipped up the first straight and took the 2 bends really well. Anagram had her first handslip down the backstraight and took to the sand brilliantly - she showed herself up though by p&&&ing about when Keith went to catch her  fun to watch though lol. Jacqui & Tony's young greyhound Ceri went well in her first run out of the boxes and hugged the rail lovely (16.17). Martin gave his BIG lad Kai (Bigland Boy x Mismatch Mini) his first go out of the boxes, he also looked really good & clocked a decent time (15.52 & 15.58) considering he had no kickboard in, followed by a run in company, sailing round & passing lovely - watch out for him as he gains experience. Jarvis & Violet had little blasts down the back straight and we were really pleased with how they went. Magic Flyer had a couple of solos and went well.

Nice to see Steve's Barney out having a look around, he's still stunning.

Next race night 14th November

Racing & trials tomorrow night from 5.30pm. All welcome

14th November

Only a small turnout due to the weather and people running in the open at Highate but everyone had a good night, plenty time for schooling. Got to say the track was top notch, Rod & Louise are doing the track maintenance themselves now and the running surface looked perfect, especially when you think of all the rain it had yesterday.

VERY impressed by The Black Pearl, this is going to be some bend dog, clocking 15.12 & 2nd run 14.97 - only 2 non peds have ever done faster on this track, can't wait to see him in the no limit at our open.

Newcomer Jasper took to the bends brilliantly clocking decent times for his first full distance runs 16.06 & 16.10.

Jacqui & Tony's greyhound Ceri went very well with a much improved time of 15.43 & 15.65.

Youngsters Dido, Just Paddy, Miles, Jarvis & Violet all had handslips down the back straight and all looked fab.

Red Moon Rising, Short n Curly & Jenny Taylor all had a couple of runs with RMR being the winner 16.13 & 16.32.

This will be the last Saturday night now before the open on 29th.
