Hi.. My husband and I got our first westie in Feb 1985 and now couldnt imagine life without a westie. They are small dogs with a big personality..westitude . Our first was Kirsty who lived nearly 14 years. Then we had Hamish who was an amazing character and was a very healthy dog till WLD was diagnosed when he was 10. He lived on till he was 12 . Now we have Fletch. I took early retirement just after we got him and he is with us all the time. Hes 10 and I'm hoping we have him for a lot longer. He is my beautiful boy and very loving He brings us such joy.
