What A Lovely Weekend

I've had such a busy weekend!!

It started with me and Mr Monty Magic by going to a show with TC and Ruso. :huggles:

Monty was 3rd in the puppy class, which was a mix of iggies, whippies, greyhounds and lurchers :cheers:

Then he was 1st in the whippet class (w00t) Poor Ruso did not like the extremely rough ground, but luckily Monty is a wee bit older and a titchie bit bigger, so he found it much easier :- "

Then we had the hurdles - Ruso beat Monty hands down but it wasn't surprising cos Monty is a climber, not a jumper, and couldn't get to grips with going over the top of something - he prefers standing on things so everyone can admire him :lol: Oh yeah, it also helps when you run and jump in a straight line like Ruso - Monty is more 'artistic' in his hurdling, he does free-style :b

Then, after hours being boiled and starved in the sun 8) it was back to mine for Wayne's lovely home made burgers followed by lots of fun and frolics for the dogs in the garden :lol:

Gobbie Zoe feels she isn't getting enough attention so shouts a load of very naughty words at the boys to get them to look at her :rant:

But then they panic cos they think they boys are going to tell one of the grown-ups so they run away as fast as they can :sweating:

But its ok, Devon is just showing the lads how to play it cool 8)

Then its time for party games

Panda baiting is illegal, but we can turn a blind eye for special occasions

although there were times when poor Monty had to run for his life!!!! :sweating:

An the day ended, as all good parties do, with several rounds of the conga (w00t)

we decided it was definately best to leave the boys to it :- " :lol:

So to Sunday - or puppy day as it ended up being

A whole day full of pups, it was bliss :huggles:

Not for poor Irene's garden though - Lizzie's babies totally trashed as much of the garden as they could

What is it with male whippets and humping (aka doing the conga :lol: )? It's not as if they ever grow out of it. Fred still attempts the conga every day at 10 years old :- " Poor Monty...he just wants to play with his sponge
