After a fantastic weekend ian and i would like to offer thanks to all involved with the Astley & Tyldesley Running Dog Club... Keith Craig Paul John and the lady folk Vicky Linda Fiona Lauren Nichola & Jac
as usual it was great to meet up with our chums and meet new ones too, Jacs dad and Vickys mum and dad too. Kris brilliant to see you and Razzle again
Isnt fantastic to see a show with everyone helping out and doing different tasks to ensure the event runs like clockwork !
The sunshine really makes a day like that so i have to say arent we glad to we didnt stay here for the monsoon (w00t)
i dont think ive drunk that much beer since last month :- " we started at 730am with the cider then by 8pm we had used up half the worlds aluminium resourses in Carlsberg tins :- " , if that wasnt bad enough we all went to the Ginpit bar and got stuck in !! i dont remember leaving there
Sunday told a very different story one of us was a bit sick..but it wasnt me :- " sorry ian :x (w00t)
Poor China was tortured all weekend as it seems shes been in season and is on her way out !! no visable signs till thursday then all hell broke loose. Colt was a dog posessed and Smokey close behind. what a job keeping all 3 separate which just ground the poor buggers down eventually
I ran her and she was pipped by the Champion so no shame there, Smokey still isnt right after his spell of illness so Ian wisely elected not to run him. thanks guys for all the advice given.
Colt was a delight to slip and like he always does walked onto the line stands without moving then exploded down the track leaving all way back, each hurdle was a stride to him. hes on his way back folks..be afraid..be very afraid
both won there show classes and made the final were it was between a ladys gorgeous black dog that was just gleaming ! Big Uncle Phil and Lovely Lou done a fine and thoro job
Jac has taken loads of pix and Ian and i have stacks so get ready to get bored shitless !!
