our Milos getting on a bit now hes 12 this year and as his blood line has a strong cancer link in it I allways worry about him. so today we get up and hes in his ususly spot infront of the fire asleep when he trys to get up he scream in pain 9 oh poo I think. check him over it seams to be his shoulder when we held his foot and moved his leg about phoned the vet booked him in for this afternoon. as they day whent on he still cryed out in pain every time he moved but i said to tony we need to get him out for a wee. so we picked him up and the sod just walked off no limp nothing that odd.

when he came back from doing his bits and having a little run round the garden he lay down and cryed again. this is gettig very odd now. we spent about 15 mins going over him. It turns out overnight he cought his dew claw slightly and theres a tiny little rip like a papper cut in the webbing from his leg to dew claw. the wimp screams if you go near it so we gave it a clean just incase put a bit f padding and vet rap round it and phoned and told the vet. after he finished lafing hesaid on milos note it says biggets wimp hes ever met on it lol. so the oppontments canclled and we will just keep an eye on it for a few days. the sod had me worred sick god help us if he ever realy does get ill or hurts himself. but hes so handsome i can forgive him anything

It made me laugh reading your post Wendy we have two retired racing greyhounds and Nell screams if you so much as look at her sometimes I dropped a piece of kitchen towel on her the other day and she screamed like i had dropped a brick on her!! I nearly had heart failure (w00t)

well we checked it this morning and its fine but hes still screaming and to add insult to ijury we ran out of normal vet rap so its wraped in bright pink vet wrap now though I think he quiet likes it.after the fuss hes been making I am expecting the police or rspca to come knocking at my door lol

Poor Milo! I know what you mean though, Tiny screams when you dry his feet - there's nothing wrong with them, he just doesn't like standing on three legs while you dry one foot!

Poor Max had a pink bandage when he first broke his leg and everyone laughed at him. Now he just swaggers and shows off his scars! :lol:

Its definitely a greyhound thing .William screams if you look at him in the wrong way. He also screams if he sees you with the claw cutters. Button is much tougher she doesn't scream much at all.

My greyhound girls arent to wimpy but the lad. the worst is when your out and they stand on somthing or you catch there feet and they scream everyone looks at you like you have just wolped them. its so embarasing and you know dame well when you say hes stud on a twig they dont beleve you elspicaly thouse with there tuff hard dogs that dont feel anything.

I was at a pet dog show once and shelby my black lad we lost a few years back stood on his own foot playing silly sod there was a dog warden there she came storming over shouting I should have a dog and what the hell did i just do to him and hes needs to see a vet and if i didt take him she was going to report me. I was shocked bvut after a minet or 2 i was in fits of lafter as shelby was running about behined her like a looney and everyone saw lafing at her. later in the day i did go over to her and explained about greyhounds and that realy as a dog warden she should know all breeds are differnt dont think she liked me very much lol

my holly was just the same if you looked at her hard she would scream her brother was much more stoical and never complained which ment you had to watch or things got really bad before he showed anything was wrong

:lol: :lol: :lol: , pink vet wrap on the lovely Milo !!! Dave will have a fit if he thinks Milo is poorly. He adores Milo and Boris. Thats why he moves off the sofa to let them on !!!!!!!!!!!!............ and we love tallula, cally, minnie, ninny, indy, ruby, lacey, darcey, forrest .............. and the monster that is scarlett xxxxx have i left anyone out !!!!
