He is a light blue brindle with white trim 12 year old whippet,I am entering in the YKC grooming competition at discover dogs.If I win 1st 2nd or 3rd I qualify for Crufts.

My friend (his owner) is coming with me and we are going on the saturday.

Hi I have a blue brindle as well and I found that he looked best against a black background and he also has a black leather show lead. They tend to look best against a solid background colour because it you try grey or blue they tend to blend in. I tried lots of clothes on in front of the mirror with him standing in front of me until I settled on an outfit. Hope this helps.
 
I have always shown my blue brindles wearing either red, dark purple, or deep pink.

For show lead, I would use a cream-colored leash with maybe a silver martingale chain. If the judge notices your show lead, it's too much. The duller and less eye-catching, the better.
