Probably the best possible cross for a ferreting dog!! :thumbsup:He sounds great Years ago whiplingtons used to be called coney dogs but he is most definitely classed as a lurcher
Hello I'm new to this forum. Had to answer as you've been told your dog is a lurcher. This may be just a local thing but I have always understood a bedlington crossed with a whippet to be a "Coney". Also (and again I may be wrong?) but quote: "any whippet or greyhound bllood in a dog makes it a lurcher" I don't think that this is true? A proper lurcher has lots of collie(smithfield) in it? Many dogs said to be lurchers are actually "running dogs" or "long dogs"???hi have just got a bedlington x whippet can anyone tell me if he is
