We all love our dogs but if you could get a new dog - and money wasn't any object - or colour and type was in the rescue centre... what would you have?

My current dream dog is a Toy Poodle...

Having had Ripples who is a poodle cross, we just love the temperament and cleverness of the poodle.

The other plus side is that they are small, I have had only Golden Retrievers in the past and I think they are just a bit too big for our family now...

lurchers is all i ever wanted so am very happy as they will be the last breed i will ever have.. but as young it was a goldie lab, plus growing up well i wanted a mastiff, will never own one nw; im lucky thow i walk my neighbours mastiff x as much as i can..

umm, this is like cheating! Don't tell Dude, but i always fancied a coonhound! Failing that tho, (and you can't get them here anyway) i've always wanted a pointer, but then you can't carry a pointer if they hurt themselves, so maybe a whippet is best for me, :)

My wee girl just got a white toy poodle puppie I thought it would be a wee nambie pambie dog but this wee one has plenty attitude and she loves it to bits all I ever wanted was a whippet now I have 4 and will get one more next year

I already have my dream dogs  But I did always want a Deerhound, and I would love another Ridgeback one day :))

think he means a dulux dog, from the advert, an old english sheepdog :)

I have had whippets for over 20 years and currently have 3 . If I were to get another dog it would be another whippet . To me they are perfect !

I always wanted Beagles and am on my 3rd, but I would have a great dane if they lived a bit longer and diddnt take an entire cow per day to feed LOL

A Silken Windhound. They are absolutely stunning!

You have very good taste ;)

If you fancied a trip to Kent in July you should come along to the UK Silken Windhound Speciality show on 20th July in Five Oak Green.

I already have my dream dogs, the silken windhounds. I first saw one online about 14 years ago and it took me 10 years to get my very own one, now I have 2 and another on the way :D

A female english bull terrier is the one for me.. so sweet and funny they are :)

For me, the dog I have always admired is the Scotish Deerhound, they look fantastic and all I have come across have had a lovely temperment. But unfortunately they don't on average live long enough for me, so I will just have to continue meeting some at shows.

I've always really wanted a Malamute (but I'd never have one because temperamentally they just aren't right for me) or a Saluki (not the most suitable dog around dozens of fostered kittens!) and I really love having a snuggle with Bernese mountain dogs and Newfoundlands when I have the opportunity, but if you'd seen the size of my house you'd understand why they really aren't suitable for me either.

Can you tell that I'm not a small dog person?

I have my dream dogs - my 2 Labradoodles Lottie and Ruby. To be picky I would like my perfect dog to have Ruby's intelligence and coat with Lottie's calm and gentle temperament.

If someone asked me about designer dogs 6 years ago I would have laughed at the idea of owning one, but my views have evolved and changed over time.

A Rhodesian Ridgeback and I have two of them already and would not have any other breed now

My dream dogs have to be whippets, I have four and I would have more but my house and my pockets are not big enough.
