Ok then took a pic of boo's leg what do you all think?

cant see the full extent of it cos she wont let me pick her up to take a pic of underneath....

Gotta put cold compress on it and see how it is tomoz...as its started to swell over night ...

definatly needs ice incase theres a tear in the muscle definatlt a blead there :luck:

looks like a lot of brusing and swelling, i would put some arnica gel on it, to bring the brusing out more and then you would be able to tell the extent of the damage, good luck and i hope its not too bad

sorry meant to say maybe ableed cant get the hang of this new thing yet

I WOULD GET A XRAY HAD SIMILAR PROBLEM WITH GREYHOUND WORKET OUT HE FRACTURED HIS FEMUR

If it is a torn muscle you can't do anything 4 10 day's 2 let the bleeding stop then ultra sound

Oh no, what has happened to my baby girl? That looks very painful. Bless her little heart, I hope she is feeling better soon.

Defo musle tare . Looks same as mad maxs when he

Did gracillas . Ultra sound also musle embrocation is good

For it also hope she recovers lovley bitch

Sound advice all round, plenty of Arnica Gel to bring out the bruising then see what it's like from there. Would be very difficult to come to a sound conclsion having her checked over just now as bruising can make it difficult to ascertain the extent of any damage, it could simply be superficial from a bang getting out the boxes/finishing the race or as people have mentioned there could be more extensive damage.

Get Well Soon Boo :luck:

worse thing you can do is ultra sound until the bruisings gone and the tear if there is one healed ,needs cold compress without a doubt looks simlar to as ya do did in scotland takes time like tommy said :luck: ice

get proper advice, take the dog to steve duncan, he will tell you exactly what the problem is and what to do.

Just what I was thinking, our Max did both of his & it looks similar

Conversely Blaze did something looking similar the year someone left a trapboard on the hare rail at Highgate, she had to twist sideways to avoid it hitting her as it went across the boxes (she was in outside box). We left her off for 2 weeks just incase (missed the champs to be safe rather than title greedy and sorry), rubbing with arnica until the bruising/swelling went down then had her checked over, turned out to be only a minor tear at the top of the muscle which had come together and was healing nicely. If we'd have run her at the champs it would have been a gracilis tear and game over for her racing.

Just so you don't worry too much Sadie, treat for the worst and hope for the best ;) .

looks like the gracilas but the best advice on here is to get proper advice off somebody that knows what they are on about .the advice i got was never to put the dog on the ultra sound or in a magna pulse until the bleeding and the bruising as gone

hi Karen would say thats a tear in her Gracilas muscle and if it is see Richard torr asap he would stitch it not cheap opp but would need doing in next day or so any longer and they cant stitch it, ask colin and Alison they had there dogs gracilas stitched by him, it will get better without being stitched but take much longer if that is what shes done, all the best with her :luck:
