totally agree ,put the age limit up for puppy racing.wouldnt bother me we dont puppy race, i just get mine going for vets :- so folks keep telling me. lol

my 2 raced two weeks on the trot so them only being just over 9 months decided to leave them off at the weekend especially as the ground was getting hard will be out for East Ayrshire hopefully

my milly is coming up to 8 months hopefully she will be racing at devon putting her in traps first time at keeble

Have one 8 month old, she's physically strong but got the mental capacity of a fish finger so she's not ready yet as she's too daft (please tell me she'll grow out of it Tony/Jac :b ).

The other is just over 7mths and is mentally all there but she's just put another growth spurt on so she's physically not ready yet.

There's the Fleetwood Flame litter, Showboat litter, Sky's the Limit litter, Connor's Lass litter, Azure Blue litter and Moany Moany's pup that were all born within about 3-4 weeks of each other and are still young yet (7-8mths), that must be almost 20 puppies to come in the next 2 months or so.

 spot on Fleesh, but one of our litter is running now - Sapphire Flash :D

Ooooh great stuff Linda, will keep an eye out for her :D

P.S I think I offended Lucy-pup. Mental capacity of a Fish Finger ? Lucy replied, "Oh is this your best trainer Mum ? CHEW CHEW CHEW !!!"

hellsbitch x oscar 8 coming up 8mth

bally spot x stag possessed 3 coming up 8mth

showboat x dance master 4, show spot was one of them

fleetwood flame x dancemaster just 8mth

mollychop x oscar just 8mth

all these should be running well for scottish derby pups ;)

think in next few months puppy racing will pick up as i know all at club are just coming up to age to race :)

the standard in some classes are very high, therefore if they dont make open class some folks let them go to pet homes, rather than club race them.

so only a minority come through.

seen some pups winning every thing. but when they come to adult racing never heard of again :(

some good yearling about and hopefully more to come.

ajay, mollychop x oscar pup has just this morning gone into the hands of gary gorton ( back with his mam), as i have no means of training him at the moment, so he should deffo be ready shortly

good luck with him gary, make us proud ;)
