Which camera do you use to take action pictures (running/coursing) of your dogs? If its an SLR, what one, and which lens do you use most? I am still trying to find the picture of a running/coursing dog to draw and just wondering what equipment is being used to produce the ones on site. Cheers. MM

Am just learning the trick's of the trade as regard's taking pic's,but i started out last year with a Ricoh point n shoot. Two month's later,i bought a bridge camera, and two month's after that,an SLR.(OLYMPUS)E400.This one did the trick, and im now using a 40/150 len's.If i end up taking pic's which are even near the quality of you're drawing's,i will be over the moon.Great drawing's.You have been given a great gift, and it is a pleasure to see it on here. ...Billy...

I have a Fuji Finepix S5500 which I really like, :) it does ok with the action shots but I would really love a Cannon.

I was just wondering if this one would be a good chalenge for you.Not that im saying it would be too dificult, cause from what ive seen you would deffo be up to the challenge.Ijust thought that with all the different angel's of the pup's and all those shades of grey, this would be a good one.Even in charcoal.

why not give yourself a chance on this Billy. I am completely self taught. Never had a lesson outside of normal education (i.e.secondary school was my last some time ago! I mean SOME TIME AGO!). If I were you, I would get myself some charcoal (p.m. me with your address and I will send you some if you like), and have a go. YOu never know what you might come up with!

First,i love you're Billy boy.Very cute.Unfortunately, ive never been given the pleasure,as my 6 are all girl's.Ihave a 14 year old,who is top of her year in art,but has no interest, and cant be talked too.She want's to be an interior designer, and spend's all day on her pc designing room's n stuff.Im a great artist myself, but it's a government artist i am,as ive been drawing the dole or whatever for a few year's now since i was forced to stop working ,with the old ticker.Still do a bit now and again, but it's not worth it,when you have to declare. My dad was a good painter and went along to painting classes for year's,but he's 80 next year,God willing, and is now into photography,as i got him enrolled in a camera course and camera club to get him out of the house.I will take a few pix of some of his work, and put them on here for you to see. ...Billyboy,(adult version.)
