Which K9 Whippets Are Entered At Crufts

Will a non competitor be allowed near the benches? It's my first Crufts so not sure how it all works

The idea of benches is so that the general public can view the dogs , In fact Crufts is the only show in the whole calender that all exhibitors HAVE to stay till 3 pm or is it 4pm , whichever time it is , its a pain cos it means that 1000s of peps and dogs are all trying to get out of the carpark at the same time ,so if you havnt got a dog my advice is to leave well before that time or much later .

I must admit I dont really like exhibiting at Crufts cos there are too many people , many of whom never go to see the dogs (w00t) all they want to do is go round the stalls , of which many have nothing to do with dogs at all  . I think they should put trade stalls in separate halls to the dog ring s and then we would have more room to walk our pooches . I mean people take pushchairs  and CHILDREN too (w00t) ;)

I'm going and it's my birthday on March 25th so can I have a cream egg, can I, please? please? :* :* Must admit I like the shopping (have been once before) but I'm going to see all my new friends and their owners this year!!

PS - what's the etiquette for taking photos of dogs? I wasn't sure last time and so didn't take any. :b

I presume you are a non competitor in the show and NOT a non competitor in the cake and bun stakes

The etiquette at CRUFTS is that you should ideally use a camera when taking photos.

At Crufts it is that photos should not interfere with the judging so I dont want to see you flashing whilst judging is going on.

You CAN flash when the dogs are stacked after the class.

Cakes and buns are my favourite, I shall most certainly be competing in that area

Also in the cream egg area

And the Vol-au-vent and cheese straw area

AND MOST CERTAINLY IN THE CONCEALED BROWN BAG AREA

Too right and kids out of pushchairs and people with huge bags. They stroll around not looking where they are going and smack them in the dogs' faces or nearly trample on them. IT'S A DOG SHOW for pity's sake, dogs should take priority at the place not the public.

I think they should have designated walkways for dogs/exhibitors only to allow them to get from the benches to the ring or exercise area safely and relatively hassle-free. Even the most bomb-proof dog must find it an absolute nightmare.

Can the rest of us who are having a birthday this year, join in the munchies?

The birthday party will be on going from as early as Debs can get there ;) , until its time for her to go home. Its very difficult to give a `time ` as most of us are there to show our dogs  and we havnt a clue what time we will be in the ring .unless you are in the first class that is :teehee:

(w00t) LOL Jax.......... That would be the day !!!

As Cadbury's isnt far from the N.E.C. maybe they could sponsor the K9 Whippets in the show by supplying the owners with endless amounts of Creme Eggs.

I will get in touch with them for a couple of boxes!!
