Little Smidge :huggles: That is so lovely.June Jonigk said:Thank you all for your kind messages - we have been overwhelmed by the amount of messages and emails we have had since last night.
Mark and Paula, those were the days at Bickershaw weren't they - long gone but not forgotten
It has been a strange day, Jenna didn't make much noise, but the house seems much quieter. Our youngest whippet Smidge seems to be missing her most - before we took her last night he got into bed with her and put his head right across her body as if he was looking after her and keeping her warm. He used to give her hell in the mornings when we got up, because he would be soooo excited to see us, and would trot along next to Jenna with one of her ears in his mouth! Sometimes she would tell him off, but mostly she seemed to love him nuzzling up to her :huggles: When I went to work today Smidge got into Jenna's bed instead of his own - I thought that was so sweet.
It does help having the others - and I would say to any of you who only have one whippet, to get yourself out and get another Since getting my first whippet in 1977, I have never been without at least one, and I hope I never am :huggles:
Thankyou so much to a wondeful K9er friend Debbie b for the beautiful vase and flowers - so kind of you :huggles:
