I'm currently fostering a whippet bitch, (possibly with some saluki in the mix) who was found wandering around St Helens, Merseyside yesterday and picked up by the warden. She was due to be sent to a PTS kennel to serve her seven days but I happened to be in the right place at the right time and said she could stay with me and luckily the warden agreed she could. I didn't want to risk her being PTS. No idea how old she is and she isn't microchipped.
She's fawn, about 20 inches tts and fantastic temperament - great with dogs, people, even my cat. She's a bit skinny and has some bruising/ scratches underneath but otherwise seems healthy. If she isn't claimed within 7 days I will foster her until I can persuade my husband to keep her haha. She is in no danger of being pts now.
If anyone has heard of someone losing their pet, can you let me know, please? If she was mine I would be distraught at losing her. I have listed her on Dog's Lost.
