Thanks Claire , :huggles:   but I thought F Vivaldi was RCC ? as per earlier post
The information provided was posted in response to a 'phone call from the venue - I am afraid that Dawn got it wrong :D (Richard)

A very BIG thanks once again to everyone for all your congratulations...and well done to Janet & Tracy on your YB win,Davy & Valerie on their PGB win and to all the Collooney owner/winners too...what a day,you got a lot of Crufts qualified pups

Below is a pic of Bracks winning her LB class.

Well Done to all placed - thanks for results and pics :D

Congrats to the McLeods and Bailey for another CC.

Well done Pam and Bracken - woo-hoo! And Viv/Claire and the other Collooneys - the young dog looks nice.

I like the Barmoll dog - haven't seen him before, could someone please tell me his sire & dam? The Elmanash dog is nice too - although if he were mine I'd show him a tad lighter to highlight his underline more. (That's just MO - please don't yell at me for it - his owners of course are entitled to show him as heavy or as light as they wish)

Can anyone tell me if the other Gilnockies were there - only Beryl Red shows up in the results.

I've asked this before but just want to clarify before I go on to ask the actual question... if a dog is entered in more than one class and wins one and is beaten in another, that disqualifies the dog from competing in the challenge line up - yes? Could someone please explain then the thinking behind entering a dog in more than one class? Do some people view it as more important to try for a place and the stud book number/crufts qualification than to compete for the CC? Ta.

HI Lana

Thanks For the congrats. The Barmoll dog IS CH Adagio Love Supreme X Barmoll Belleflower.

Yes you are right once you are beaten you cannot compete in the Challenge.

Possible reason for enering 2 classes, trying to get Junior Warrant points Or Sh CM. ( both "titles" will get you a Stud book Numer and therefor Crufts qulified for life)

Anita had 3 dogs with her as far as I know.

Hope this helps.

Well done to all that placed and great photo's. Thanks

Sorry , you are wrong , Sh CM . does NOT get you stud book number  All points have to be won at open shows and only BOB counts ( alongside BIS )

Don't you get points for group placings and RBIS and 1 for AVNSC ?? Has that been taken away now?

Well done evrybody

Thanks Claire and Pam.

We don't have such things as Junior Warrants, Sh CM, or stud book numbers here in Oz - so being able to compete in the challenge line up is very important to us and there are very few exhibitors who enter more than one class with the same dog at a show (it is extremely rare), for fear of winning one and being beaten in the other and then not being eligible for the CC.

The reason I asked is I noticed the MPB winner was then beaten in another class and although I don't know the dog at all it seems a shame that she did some hard work to win a MP class and then didn't get to strut her stuff in the challenge.

Which brings me to another question - if you've entered two classes and you go in for the first one and win it are you allowed to withdraw from the second one so that you keep your right to compete for the CC?

Did anyone else take any photo's? I was hoping someone might have got a picture of our Saskia (Rushden Hot 'n' Sassy) who won the YB class.

Hence why I only ever enter ONE class!!! My luck is'nt that good..so I certainly would'nt want to rely upon it!!

Thankyou Tracy :huggles: ,and there definitely were people taking pics of the class winners,I don't know who they were or why they were doing it but they were there nonetheless! Saskia went the best I've ever seen her on Sat and really deserved her class!! Mind you Tia went pretty damn well too!! :D
