My Swedish Import Sally had 4 lovely puppies on saturday morning, id like to get the pups registered at the kennel club stand at crufts. Ive used and old fashioned black and white laguna whippet and Sally is fawn with a blue mask.

I have one solid black bitch, 1 fawn and white parti dog and the last 2 im a bit stuck for deciding what colour they are. Can anyone decide what colour they are, i think either silver fawn or blue, what do you lot think?

:) Congrats on your new family. Probably best to hold off registering them for a while cos they can change colour in the next few weeks - especially the blue/silver fawns. I have had blue fawn pups before which by the time they reach 4 months are no more blue than I am !!

Good luck with them. Lets see some pics.

well done Sally, for four lovely babies

Hi B , Lovely pups and a nice mixture . I would wait for a few weeks to regitar ,and doing it on line is so easy :th

Hope to see you on Saturday , :luck: umbsup:

Is the picture of the 2 pups the one Bedlingtonwoman did not manage to post? I that case i would say this pup is definitely blue and will stay blue. It would be easier to compare looking at the fawn and this blue next to each other. Also bit bigger photo may be easier, I downloaded it in my desktop and zoomed it up and I think I can see some fawn in the black pup - may be just the light? Or it may be very dark brindle? Is there any brindle in the sire's background? Wait with the registration for a week or so.

Looking forward seeing more of these pups and their mum.

Which kennel is she from? :)

Sally is goergeous  Hope you can post some more of her pups soon, :)

:huggles: beautiful pups. I will be interested in the actual colours because I am considering a mating of my fawn with blue mask Sabrina with black and white(blue fawn brindle sired) Badger. I would love to think a black pup is possible although temperament is more important than colour as mine will be for racing (pet too of course!) :huggles:

Because Badger is black and white then all colours are possible. The pics of Garry's Quinn's pups prove this and also the Jack x Sapphy litter.

Black's can carry any colour. This doesn't mean that they do carry the gene's for all the colours and only the resulting puppies will prove what they carry.
