Hello all, I'm just wondering if any of you will be coming to the congress next year. I know I'll see you Aslan :) but what about people from O/S? Linda

If anyone is interested in sponsoring me to go I am well prepared to travel to Australia for a holiday - whoops - a few weeks of deep intensive whippeteering.

I gaurantee I will not enjoy a minute of the visit and will only go to the congress and will NOT go to Ayres Rock, Sydney, Canberra etc.....

If anyone wants to buy me a ticket (or make a substantial contribution) please note due to DVT I can only travel Business Class and must have at least 7 day stop-overs in Bangkok, Delhi, San Fransisco and New York.

N.B. I am willing to write up my thoughts on the Aussie's when I am back and post them on this board, if that influences your decision to sponsor.

Heres Hoping

:D And of course you will need a travel companion, got me passport ready........... just to help take notes of course LOL :p

I would love to go, I went to the one in the US and had a fantastic time, but like Dawn am waiting for a lottery grant or some sponsership :b

for info in the congress go to http://www.geocities.com/whippetvic/ but to answer your question it's in Victoria Australia September 2004. The judges will be

Mr M Hagstedt (Swd) Dogs & Mrs M Lowe (UK) Bitches. See you here? Linda

What a shame! :(

I am in Oz for nearly a month but Dec/Jan time-not September unfortunately or I would have loved to come.

Visited Victoria last time I was there so this time it is the East Coast we are heading for.

If I win the lottery befor then of course I will be there!

Sarah

Whereabouts on the East Coast Sarah? I am in Mackay, Qld.

Hi Wallabyhouse,

Dec/Jan you say. Well bring your shorts and by some thongs (shoes) no not those sort of thongs (but on a second thought they might come in handy for our hot days) light T shirts and of course your swimmers. Plenty of sun cream or you will go home cooked like a lobster. Have a wow of a time. Jill

Thongs = rubber/ leather/ plastic things you wear on your feet cause it's too hot to wear shoes. I have heard New Zealanders call thongs Flip Flops.

No worries mate you'll get used to the lingo. LOL.
