Firstly i'll like to welcome you to k9... its a great forum & i hope you enjoy it..

Whippet & pug cross... im afraid i wouldnt dream of it... whippets are so elegant & graceful... please dont take this the wrong way as pugs are gorgeous but in different ways... think very carefully about this before you go ahead please...

if it had been april the 1st i would have said it was a joke!!!

Well Said, thats all some people think about, isn't it? They do not care for the welfare of the dogs at all. Also I don't expect they will care too much about homes. Highest bidder I expect  .

Yup, sure would, just like Goldendoodles, Bichon Poos, Cockapoos, Puggles, Schnoodles etc. In fact like most badly bred, overpriced dogs with owners that like to think they are creating an exotic breed. Never understood why people would want to do this, even if you got money you probably wouldn't get much joy, whereas imagine breeding Pedigree Whippets which could race and show and bring joy to their owners. Probably be healthier and you could explain the size and requirements of the breed. Pugs have problems with eyes, breathing and legs, whereas Whippets are on the whole a pretty healthy breed. Don't ruin them.

Anyway, hope that was a joke. If it was- great joke! If not- eek.

Btw, really gorgeous picture of the pug and whippet kissing!

just whats the point? i wouldnt have the cheek to come on a whippet/longdog/lurcher site and ask about breeding mongrels PURPOSEFULLY!

i think you must be taking the mikky or what some forums call a troll.... :(

Must be a wind up. This person have not been online since posting this, and have only posted once. Probably somebody who have been "frozen out" before and knows exactly what buttons to press ;)

Welcome to K9  You are joking though aren't you ? (w00t)
If you are serious about this then Im sorry but I call that irresponsible. Not only are you putting the life of the bitch and pups in danger but its unthinkable. Designer dogs are not smart...cross breeding two breeds to try and make something more is wrong and it should be stopped.
