Gawd, reading this thread has made me realise how lucky I am  Thank goodness mine have never shown the slightest inclination to eat each other's or other dogs' poo :x They do have a nibble on the guinea pig dropping now and then... but I think that just their way of "getting their greens" :clown:

Another one here who realises how lucky he is, not just with the poo eating, but such as housetraining, she was a doddle, never bothers trying to destroy things while im out, recall, no probs, and thats without treats, i like my dogs to come back to me not treats, i have seriously considered another whippet, but thats as far as it goes with me, i wouldnt like to bring the opposite into the house.

I used to be a supervisor at Somerfields and work long hours, I used to look forward to getting home taking my shoes off laying on the settee and letting Tyson lick my feet. :- "

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm sheer heaven!!!! He would do between every toe, all along the soles and the balls of my feet! Who needs a foot spar when u have a whippet!

i could be way off the mark here but i was once advised by a mate who breeds alsations that a way of stopping dogs from eating poo is to feed them pineapple chunks  i have no idea why it is supposed to help other than it apparently contains some mineral that they may be lacking.i never got around to trying it because at the time my dog grew out of it but if my new one starts doing it :x then i will certainly be trying it ;)

Yes I heard good things about Pineapple chunks, one a day, I think it makes the poo smell funny and they dont like it.

I love all these stories about poo eaters, specially 'pick it all up before they get to it' The trouble with that is there must be about half a ton along the towpath near me (w00t) Mmmmm thinks, must look on ebay for small dumper truck :- " :D
