I'm bumping this up. Is there anyone who would be willing to organise something, and we could donate the money to a great whippet charity or something? I know it takes a whole lot of work, but I'm sure someone out there, or a group of us, could get our heads together, and we could have some fun.

CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHAT A WHIPPET FUN DAY IS?? IT SOUNDS 'FUN'

Whippet Fun Day - fun classes for the dogs, lots of whippy things to look at and lots of whippies to drool over - and anything else you can add that is relevant to whippies.

I would certainly give a hand, we would need to find a venue, it would take a few meetings to get everything organised.

Can I sugggest that any one who is seriously interested put thier names forward, (also the area that they live in) and then we can look at a fairly central meeting place and try and get the ball rolling. Perhaps we should do a new posting - that will be my next message.

I suppose somewhere central just off the motorway would be ideal for a lot of people to get to. Lancaster might be the best area.
