Erm, ok, this might be seen as a strange question, but, what other breeds of dogs would you say the whippet head is comparable to in size?

You see, every year my OH and I, do a Christmas present run round all the family on Christmas Eve, as we dont see them then til after Christmas. My OH always wears a Santa hat, and well, this year, we will of course have a little helper coming with us, and she needs a little santa hat too :b

I've started having a look around on Ebay, but the trouble is, I'm not sure what "size" she is. I mean, her breed normally fits into the springer spaniel, collie etc box, BUT she has a much smaller head than either of those.

Yorkie, jack russell, too small yes? Maybe cocker spaniel size??

Anyone with experience of dog hats  what do you think??

hi sarah,we once got one from BHS but that was only ok for a pup or yorkie size,so dont have a clue where else they sell them, will keep my eyes peeled for you though.the girls send dee dee a big sisterly kiss :huggles:

in the asda chrismas catalogue there is a santa type coat and hat modeled by a whippet/lurcher dog. i think they are about £5. :)

Ha ha what a funny topic

I am not very experienced in dog hats unfortunately! I got the same hat as Pat did from BHS (together with scarf) and it fit Molly but she is tiny  These were a joke present from my mum by the way, I don't make her wlak round the streets wearing it

im going to check the asda ones out next time im there

me too!

I got a neck decoration from the pound shop for Sunny last year, it cost us £1

sad to think that it will be our first christmas as whippet owners without our Sunny-boy :(

but will have new baby to dress up this year

Devon is modelling a hat I got from Adams, I modified it a bit, he really liked it :*

the girls prefer real clothes, not silly dress up ones :p
