Hi Lydia

Nice to see you back on K9. Hope you, your whippies and your Royal Pythons are just fine. Oh and the rest of the menagerie (sp)

Take care

Mandy

LOL, oh Lana, that smilie is green, might be about to puke but it aint puking yet (w00t) ,havn't you seen the ones were they actually throw up-they quite good :- " .

As for location,it does say Gloucestershire in my profile, admit I never check avator, too busy and of course I'm in lurve-wherever that is  .

Will try and take some pics of the little horrors today,(later-obviously) and post em on here,or,send them to Bj or Lana or both and let them post them.I'm really struggling with AOL as an internet provider, total crap compared to Wannadoo imo, wouldn't recomend them to anyone.............

Good to be back, and thanks Mandy,Kris and Alfyn for missing me-don't worry,I'm not going to get soppy, :sweating: .

Kris,Bonnie is great as always, far better than a whippet in every way, think the world of her  o.k.,and my whips as well............just pups are hard work,thank-god for my M.T. babysitting them, supervising them, guarding and protecting them etc. and always ready to play with them.

The pythons I've kept are fine Mandy, the Royals as gorgeous as ever, bigger, heavier and gorgeous, can't quite manage a pup :teehee: for their supper (w00t) only kidding.............or am I .......... (w00t) .No seriously, pups and pythons are fine  .

Anyway,gotta go,things to do etc.

I wondered where you'd got to! Glad to hear life is looking up for you :luck:

Look forward to seeing pics of beautiful Blob's babies

Maybe see you at some shows next year

LOL,yep Debs, just what I mean, like all of those  but then you knew I would :teehee: .

" Maybe see you at some shows next year " At the moment,I'm only planning on going to Crufts with my M.T.

I may possibly show my veteran dog occasionaly,if I think the judge is worthy of an entry, and I can be bothered, and, I've got the dosh.I will miss you lot, but,am so busy wouldn't possibly fit anything else in at the mo :D .

I know whenever I go anywhere with my whippy's/M.T.,be it a show or a gallop accross our local common that I am going home with the best whippets ever born.

I do not need any judge to agree/disagree with my opinion, especially as my best for showing can't always be bothered to show themselves :D .

I'll bimble down to the whippy ring while I'm at Crufties, and, maybe we'll be able to grab a quick drink, assuming you're going of course  .

(w00t) im so glad you too think you own the best dogs and take the best dogs to the show win or lose.thats just the right attitude to take

Well I'm only going on Toy day next year , as I'm hoping to have an IG next year. So I don't suppose I'll see you.

What about Whippet club of Scotland CH? I've shown under Mrs O'Brien & she liked Evie & her blue mum & sister! If her OH likes the same type He should like Blob & Gracie (hopefully :luck: )

Are you keeping any of Blob's babies?

I'll bring some wine then Debs  ,a party will be good :sorcerer: .We don't have a drunk smilie,oh well, take a pic of Jax and keep it on my comp for future use......... :- " .

Definitely have new bloke with me,couldn't face Crufties on my own,I get lost walking from M.T. ring to Whippet ring........as I'm sure Jax will understand........ .Hopefully Bj will also come with us,if I can persuade her,Crufties aint the same with out Bj,really missed her this year :'( .

They are brilliant aren't they Kris, wouldn't be with out Bonnie.Best dog I've got........along with a few whip's  .A few yrs ago Stu got bullied by some older kids on our estate-wished I'd let him take her out with him to play. She wouldn't allow mindless little bastards to beat him up.She also saved me from drowning in the bath (I sleep in the bath) and stays with me when my BS is low.The whips couldn't care less if I drown and run away when my BS is low.

Wish you were coming to Crufts on hound/terrier day as well Emma, would be lovely to see you, will be going to Scotland next year -but not for Whippet Club of Scotland show. Will be popping up to Aberdeen to see Davids' folks.

Retired Bluebell from showing, she hates it and why should I drag her round asking her to do something she hates-she deserves better ;) .There isn't a judge anywhere who could think more highly of her than I do,so stuff it.

I may turn up at a few shows, will have to just to be nosey and have a gossip :D ,

also got a judging appt coming up,just can't remember if it's 2006 or 2007.Think it must be 2007 'cos I haven't had the confirmation letter yet.............

lyd i still miss havin a manny around.i remember one year i was going to crufts and as i was stood on the doorstep saying goodbye to hubs a friend of his turned up and looked down at my manny and said awwww isnt she lovely.she promptly jumped up to kiss him, head butted him and knocked his two front teeth out! (w00t) this was the same dog that held up all the traffic in the town centre but thats another story! :- "

I'll certainly miss Bonnie when I no longer have her, although that shouldn't be for a good few years yet.I completely understand your feelings on this one.

I do love my whippy's,but for different reasons. If I'd got a Manny before getting a whippy,I don't know if I'd have ever got a whippy,or any other breed for that matter.Possibly a dobe if I had the space, the dobe at the racing yard where I used to work was just a giant manny.

LOL at your manny knocking your friends teeth out :) ,don't know about your manny's but Bonnie is definitely clumsier than my whippy's.So how did yours halt the traffic :- " ,glad she stopped the traffic before it squished her, sensible dogs manny's.

Lyd

Personally I have a different take on Mannies.

Considering the first time that I met Bonnie she walked under my feet and turned round and nipped me on my ankle, for stepping on her. (w00t) She later did the same thing to poor old Tally. (w00t)

Mouse adores her though. She is responsible for a lot of his naughty behaviour and his love of all terriers regardless if they are telling him that they will rip his throat out.

Ah Bj,you know how much you love her :teehee: ,quite clearly she didn't trip you or Tally up,you were both supposed to know that she was going to run in front of you,you were supposed to sort of pirouette around her (w00t) :D .

I also seem to remember, that when Mouse was a baby, and, your dogs knew he was the most annoying puppy on four legs, she played with him all day,not one cross word  .I'm sure you changed your opinion of her that day............

i just know ill regret telling this story! :D i had gone out shopping and hubs was home alone.someone came to the front door and hubs went to answer it.as he did so the manny shot thru his legs and dashed off down the road.hubs grabbed the keys and his friend who had been the person knocking at the front door and set off in hot pursuit telling his mate if anything happemns to that dog the wife will kill me!so they couldnt keep up with her as she was fast so they ran down the road shed gone down but couldnt see her so they started looking down all the side streets etc.anyway after a couple of hours they trudged back on the original road home, him thinking what am i going to tell kris? :( next thing they heard the beeping of many car horns and as they turned round they saw a convoy of cars, vans buses etc driving towards them at about 5 mph.and trotting along in the middle of the road was my manny staying exactly in the middle so the drivers couldnt get past her!hubs ran after her but she dashed through his legs again, ran up the path and sat on the front doorstep and waited for him to catch up! :b i wont tell you what the air was like when i got home that day :- "

LOL,thank-god she was ok.Really made me smile reading that :D

John (ex) once lost our Grey's on the common  .He knew better than to come home, took him something like 4 hrs to find them,he only did 'cos they ran accross an old cattle grid that had grass growing through it and got stuck.Scraped all the skin off their legs, nearly killed him for that dozy b*****d  .

Not surprised your oh took off after her, and,at least she was ok.

Back on topic, still got all 3 pups here, someone coming this afternoon to see them.

Lyd

Good luck with the pups Lyd, be they know theyve been vetted LOL.

LOL,thanx Mark,

I've got my own ways of dealing with idiots and time wasters who **** me off,and dozy twits who can't read messages properly :- " .

Pups are fine, the ppl who came had a pup from me before, the last litter that I had 3 yrs ago.Really nice family, already vetted and passed with flying colours :D .

For anyone else who is reading this, these pups are not racing bred, and, although they are bred from top class show/coursing lines,I'm not interested in selling any to show homes.Whippets have better things to do than go to poxy shows and be bored.Mine do anyway...........
