Hello all,
After my post last week on Whippet Rescue in Scotland......
We have decided that we would definately like another whippie, but that having a rescue one would be preferable as we would like somthing a bit older then a pup.
I called the lady at the whippie rescue and she was really unhelpful! She said that she had nothing in, didnt know when anything would be coming in, and couldnt help me.
I was really surprised...... , I thought that she would at least be able to point us in the right direction.
So if anyone knows of any whippies needing a new home in N England/Scotland then please give me a shout. Not fussed if its a bitch or dog, would like anthing up to 3 years ish.
We also went to the cat and dog home in Edinburgh, didnt realise it closed at four o clock tho  ! Had a look round, its quite sad actually as loads of really stressed out wuffs. We only saw one that took our fancy, a black greyhound, small boy who looked really depressed . We couldnt take him out though as ran out of time. We might go back and see him out this weekend if he is still there. Pimms wants a playmate.
From my own personal point of view though I would prefer another whippie. So if anyone has any ideas then let me know!
Thanks all!
Gemma and Pimms
