While is seems quiet on here today, where is everyone, oh I forgot I think somethings on at Swallownest, somewhere where we whippet racers in the south cannot get to very easy. Too long a journey and too expensive.

the BWRA web site is now updated, please take the time to read on the latest news section how the BWRA is run.

The latest top gun points are also on there today

Top Gun site inform me there is no reason now why people cannot log in or register, it has been simplified and therefore no one should have any trouble getting into it now. Some interesting topics plus news of all the clubs and regions

Thanks Audrey, will send our 40th Anniversary results Monday evening.

Have a nice Easter

Sheila

yes i quiet agree Rocky it is quiet on here the little something that was on at swallowsnest only attracted 149 dogs

I do agree also thurrock has something on and we are in the same position too far and to expensive for us to go this dose'nt just apply to the south

it is a fact and a pity that the sport is being effected by the travelling and expence it doesnt help Whippet racing

this applys to all racers I do feel sorry for our Scottish members they have lots of travelling to do wherever they race

wishing you all the best Sheila today at least the weather has been kind to us

this is why we have sold our caravan

it just goes to show - 149 dogs at Swallownest this week-end whilst us near and around Fordingbridge are kicking our heels with nowhere to go. Whippet Racing is only for those from Leicester to Newcastle now. Good luck to Sheila for putting on an open at Thurrock today - too far for us to go though - 3 hours each way on very congested roads. Fordingbridge are putting on 3 top gun opens this year, otherwise we would have no sport at all. We have our week-end camping week-end plus a mid west open and thats it. I compile the top gun points but are very envious of those able to compete. I don't think I shall be whippet racing next year. I don't know the answer, only perhaps if we had about 4 big events per year only that we all could make a special effort to attend, more for some than others. Only then would it be fair on points systems, whether they be top gun or top ten.
