Apart from the two whippets who went BIS at Crufts (Ch. Cobyco Call The Tune and Ch.Pencloe Dutch Gold) have any whippets ever gone best in Group?

Second question...

Some people worry that a BIS at Crufts may not be good for a breed as they may become the latest fashion. Did numbers of registered whippets go up after whippet wins or did breeders out there get enquiries from people who saw the dog win at Crufts?

To your second, yes there was an increase gradual at first but in the last 5 years I would say at a rapid/worrying rate.
