I was just about to take Milly and Poppy out for a walk, I put their collars on then the heavens opened. I thought I had better hang on a bit so went and sat down in the front room. Mistake 1, I left the patio door open, mistake 2, I did'nt keep my eye on Poppy. 5 minutes later she comes running in the room and stands in front of me wagging her tail, tongue hanging out and panting. Oh no  she had soil all over her face up her legs and great dollops of mud around her feet (w00t) . She had been digging  I tried to grab her, too late, she was off, up the stairs, on the bed under the bed back down stairs then back outside racing around the garden like only Whippet pups do. I looked at the mud in the dining room, front room, up the stairs, on the bed, under the bed and thought am I glad the missus was out. I took one look at Milly and she just looked at me with her ears back as if to say she's mad. It took me an hour to clean up but all the time I had a stupid grin on my face :D Whippets they are little angels o:) and do'nt we just love them.

john thats had me in stitches  you can never say life is dull with a whippet in your life thats for sure

Yep, I think I got the whippet bug and I have only had my little lad 3 weeks tomorrow  love 'em :huggles:

Em x

You just cannot beat a whippet having a loopy moment...may have taken you an hour to clean up, but I bet you laughed your way through it

 We did exactly the same, put their harnesses on then it started peeing it down. Ours are slightly more wimpy though, we opened the door to go out and they both ran away (w00t) Molly hid in her igloo and Lenny just got on the settee looking all upset cos we'd got him all excited for his walkies! We took them out when it stopped though so that made them happy again :D
